The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) has unveiled redesigned bachelor’s and master’s programs in its College of Business that embed artificial intelligence throughout the curriculum, equipping students to deploy the technology both effectively and responsibly in real-world business environments.
The initiative, announced on Monday, reflects a sweeping modernization of existing degree pathways rather than the creation of wholly new standalone credentials. Faculty have reshaped core and elective coursework to ensure graduates enter the job market with AI literacy that spans technical fluency, ethical reasoning, and strategic decision-making.
Curriculum That Mirrors Industry Shifts
UTA’s move aligns with mounting demand from employers who seek business graduates capable of leveraging generative AI tools, predictive analytics, and machine learning applications across functions. The redesigned programs touch nearly every discipline within the college:
